Pirates Were Caught and Sentenced

SimonLee Esq. and Max Liu of Wans Law Firm LLP successfully helped theirlong-term client Crea, a Japanese Company of CAD program developer,catch the pirates and put them into jail. One of the Criminal Wu Jianwas sentenced for 2 years and half in prison. The other was sentencedfor nine months. All of their revenue from the pirated program wasconfiscated. Crea filed a claim via litigation for an infringementdamages against Wu Jian and about RMB 200,000.00 was sustained by court.The infringement claim is under way for the other criminal ZhangShiyong. Those who bought the pirated program were sued by infringementclaim too. Some of the claimed damages have been collected and some arestill under proceeding.
